Phillip Levine bio

Phillip Levine, primarily a sculptor and draughtsman, received a BA in Art from the University of Colorado in 1953 and an MFA in Sculpture in 1961 from the University of Washington. He received the Washington State Governor’s Arts Award, Cultural Enrichment, 1997. Levine’s sculpture has appeared in numerous invitational exhibitions and is included in many museum, corporate, and private collections in the Northwest. The Museum of Northwest Art recently published a book about his work, "Phillip Levine: Myth, Memory & Image".
