The artists featured in the show are Kimberly Clark, Michael Howard, Carolyn Krieg, and Robert Schlegel. Their work ranges along a continuum from traditional observational description to near total abstraction. More than any other subject matter, landscape allows the artist, who is interested in both description and abstraction, to slide along this continuum without any visual or stylistic interruption.
