Marsh Burns, Ellen Garvens, Kathy Vargas.
From a formal viewpoint, the viewer can see that these three artists possess absolutely first-rate visual minds and that their work shows visual invention of a very high order.
They approach their art from considerably dissimilar aesthetic directions, differing in technique, concept and execution. However, they share much in their expressive outcome. Each artist presents us with work that has potent subjective presence, reflecting their awareness of what concerns us all as individuals functioning in contemporary society.
An Evening with Marsha Burns and Ellen Garvens, moderated by Norman Lundin: Thursday, April 21st at 7pm.
